Very useful book. Very useful book. Focuses on the topic of using shipping containers as utility type buildings. There are currently many popular notions for using containers as residential homes and apartment buildings (etc), but this book does not delve into these type of structures. The emphasis here is on low cost do-it-yourself methods of building. Lots of good info on movement, footings, roofs, and joining containers. Also has a great specifications section.Book has a fair amount of info for only 116 pages (it uses small print and has lots of diagrams crammed onto each page). Some more attention to interior floor plans would have been nice. Overall I would say it’s worth the twenty bucks I paid.

Excellent Book for Container Lovers I purchased this book for my husband (and self) to begin our investigation into container building. The information on specific construction information along with the diagrams is very helpful and an excellent addition to our container library.
