PLEASE Don’t Buy a Storage House. Here’s why… We purchased a FlowerHouse storage unit in February, 2007, and by December we were writing the manufacturer with complaints. It all started with a small rip in the fabric next to the zipper. Not the zipper itself, but rather the fabric seam next to it. Here is the unedited response we received; “Our warranty policy states the product is warranted against defects in material and workmanship, and that a warranty card must be sent in within 14 days of purchase. We, however did not find a warranty card had been sent in. We will replace your storage shed and are asking that you pay the shipping of $40 in as much as a warranty was not sent in. As you purchased your storage shed through Walmart, they are the people you should check with for a refund.”We had requested a refund from the company since Walmart will not issue one after 90-days. So, why would we throw good money after bad by sending FlowerHouse $40 to replace the piece of junk we had with another? We wouldn’t, and…

Poorly made junk I had a very similar experience to the first reviewer, but I didn’t bother to contact the manufacturer. I had the same EXACT damage as the first reviewer, BUT it only started there. After I had owned it for a few months, the inside lining of the roof started falling apart. I have owned it for about 2 years and now it is in COMPLETE tatters and is fit only for the trash.

Much Better Than Hard Storage Sheds I have two of these units and if you make sure you don’t tear it upon assembley or receive a torn unit they work great. I still put most of the items I store inside with a cover or some protection should there be a tear. These are much more flexible as far as moving then something like a Rubbermaid. Perhap it won’t hold up for years but I have a Rummbermaid storage unit that I paid close to $500 for and after a few years it still boke down and down and started to leak. The aluminum ones just look gawd awful after a few years and the wood ones are like adding on another room-very pricey. So for the money these units are great-takes less than a hour to assemble vs a half day for conventional units. For the dollars a good buy.
